Travis Louie @ Copro Nason
Travis Louie has a few great pieces in the current group show at Copro/Nason Gallery in Santa Monica, Ca. Often mistaken for graphite drawings, Louie’s acrylic paintings depict a fantasy land of humane monsters, posed for posterity in the style of 19th century Victorian portraiture. More after the jump, click on pics for larger view.
Travis also has this stellar print available via Hi Fructose, and produced by Pressure Printing. The edition is hand stained and housed in a custom resin-cast frame and curved glass in the style of his original works. Edition of 50, signed, numbered, and embossed, with a certificate of authenticity. Buy it here and check out the production process here. (via The World’s Best Ever)
