New Daniel Johnston Product Collaborations
Underground music and art legend Daniel Johnston, has teamed up with Medicom’s FABRICK line to produced this limited run of accessories, including a backpack, waist pack, and cell phone case, all adorned with the artist’s iconic Jeremiah the Innocent character. The line is only available in Japan via SHIPS and ZOOTOWN
This is not Johnston’s first foray into product collaborations. For well over a decade, his characters have been featured on t-shirts, gaining popularity as former Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain’s, garment of choice. Earlier this year, AT ARMS LTD. (yes, shameless plug) released a limited run of individually numbered Jeremiah the Innocent collectible figures, and has plans for future projects with the artist. Shirts, signed toys, and other products can be purchased via several retailers including Daniel’s official site, Toy Tokyo, or The Whitney Museum.
