Moscow World Fine Art Fair + Salzburg Fine Art Fair Cancelled
It was only this past December when London-based Haughton International Fairs called off their Asian Art Fair, citing the “present global economic situation” as the cause. Now, Geneva based Art Culture Studio has announced the cancellation of both the Moscow World Fine Art Fair (scheduled for May 25 – June 1) and Salzburg Fine Art Fair (scheduled for August 13–23). In both cases, inability to secure crucial corporate sponsorship was cited as the main reason, and not a mass exodus of exhibitors from the fairs.
