Market Watch::Saturday @ Phillips

The Art Collectors will be keeping a close eye on tomorrow’s Saturday at Phillips auction lots. Here is a selection of interesting pieces on the block. We’ll report back with results and let you know how the sale fared in the wake of the anticipated art market slowdown and mixed results of the international auctions of the past week.

344: BANKSY – Laugh Now, 2003. Screenprint on paper, 27 1/8 x 19 1/4 in. Ed. of 600. Estimate: $3,000-4,000.

351: ANTHONY LISTER – Hero Hoodlum Left, 2008.
Acrylic and spray-paint on canvas, 21 3/4 x 21 3/4 in. Estimate: $3,500-4,500.

357: D*FACE – Sado Samo, 2005.
Acrylic, spraypaint and glitter on canvas, 24 x 30 in. Estimate: $15,000-20,000.

 
369: BAST – Duke, 2007. Ink, acrylic, tape and ballpoint pen on found paper, 46 1/4 x 35 3/4 in. Estimate: $6,000-8,000.
