Juan Francisco Casas’ brilliant works on paper, using only a Bic pen as his primary tool, will open in Madrid’s Galeria Fernando Pradilla on January 14. Already in extensive pre-sales, the exhibition is anticipated to be one of 2010’s star-turning events. Prominent global art collectors have been dutifully seizing the opportunity to bring in Casas’ work into their holdings, possibly selling-out the show prior to the official opening.
