Shepard Fairey Supply + Demand Opening / Charlie Rose Appearance

Image: Shepard Fairey/ICA

Shepard Fairey appeared on Charlie Rose’s highly regarded PBS news talk show last night, in anticipation of this weekend’s opening of Supply and Demand. Fairey’s long anticipated career survey and museum debut opens this weekend, at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. The exhibit serves as a mid-career retrospective of the artist’s career, from the earliest Obey Giant stickers, to his most recent imagery, including the now iconic Obama portraits. In addition, Fairey has created a new large-scale mural for the ICA, and of course has hit the streets around Boston.

On a personal note, we’re excited to see several of our TAC Forum members contribute pieces from their personal collections to this monumental exhibit.
OBEY Experiment Party (w Fairey DJing): Friday, Feb 6, 9pm (Sold Out)
