KAWS’ Original Fake Nike Sportswear Collaboration


KAWS’ Original Fake label has once again collaborated with Nike. This time around, both the Air Max 90 and Air Max Current get the artist’s treatment. After this past summer’s drop of the virtually impossible to find and unavailable to the public, Air Force 1, expect these latest kicks to fly off the shelves in a matter of minutes. The sneakers will be released this coming Saturday, Oct. 18, at only two Nike Sportswear locations worldwide, in New York and Los Angeles.  In adddition, there seem to be some clothing collaborations, which we get a glimpse of over at thenewly updated. Damon Soule + Chris Mendoza in NYC

The Art Collectors was on hand this past Saturday for the opening of new solo shows (previously reported) by Damon Soule and Chris Mendoza, at Joshua Liner Gallery in New York City. We Like Jeff McMillan

 
Jeff McMillan just sent over some photos from his current Los Angeles show, A Maintenance of Inhabitants (For Now), at SURU. Lots of great and affordable pieces are still available. We’re really digging the shrine-like paintings, which seem like an homage to one of Jeff’s favorite artists, Eric White.  Short on cash? – Jeff has also produced two $75 giclee prints, in an edition of 50 each, as well as two t-shirt designs.
